Nashville, TN. (Arista Nashville) - Alan Jackson's LIKE RED ON A ROSE, produced by Alison Krauss, was an unexpected gem and one of the year's most acclaimed albums. It debuted at No 1 and No 3 on the Billboard Country and Billboard Top 200 album charts, respectively. The second single from the album, 'A Woman's Love,' will impact radio on January 8.

'My favorite tracks were his favorite tracks,' said Krauss, 'and he was willing to try things too. It was a dream to get to work with that voice. It was just amazing, an incredible opportunity.'

Jackson remarked, 'I think this album has a lot to offer. It's a record that you can put on with your friend or your loved one and pour a glass of wine and just have an easy listening.'

2006 has been a year of incredible successes for Jackson . February brought the release of PRECIOUS MEMORIES, an album of timeless hymns which originally was conceived and recorded as a gift for his mother. However, its appeal reached far greater lengths.
