A new album from the country star Alan Jackson toppled Janet Jackson from the top spot on the Billboard chart. Mr. Jackson’s “Good Time” (Arista Nashville), sold 119,000 copies, Nielsen SoundScan estimated, dropping Ms. Jackson’s “Discipline” (Island Def Jam) into third place on sales of 57,000 albums. Climbing one notch from last week, Jack Johnson’s “Sleep Through the Static” captured second place with sales of 65,000 copies. The rock band Flogging Molly and its new album, “Float” (SideOneDummy), took fourth place with sales of 48,000 and the Black Cowes’ “Warpaint” (Silver Arrow), selling 46,000 copies in its debut, was No. 5.
