The MTV networks - MTV, VH1, CMT, MTV2, VH1 Classic and mtvU - will air
"ReACT Now: Music & Relief," a show of live and taped performances of
artists from New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Nashville on Saturday,
Sept. 10.
Scheduled to appear are Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young,
Brian Wilson, Kanye West, Maroon 5, Good Charlotte, Audioslave, Simple
Plan, Common, John Mayer, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Dashboard Confessional,
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Melissa Etheridge, Motley Crue, Goo Goo Dolls, Staind,
Alan Jackson, Green Day, Usher, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Dave Matthews Band,
Rob Thomas, David Banner, Kelly Clarkson, John Mellencamp and Linkin
Park's Chester Bennington.
Several artists with ties to the Louisiana and Mississippi area,
including Trent Reznor, Cash Money's Baby and Lil' Wayne, Marc Broussard
and the Radiators, 3 Doors Down, and The Neville Brothers, are also
scheduled to partake.
The event will also be broadcast on broadband online channels MTV
Overdrive and VSpot.

BET will air "S.O.S (Saving OurSelves)" on Friday, Sept. 9 from 7:30-10
p.m. to raise money for relief efforts. Scheduled to perform are Jay-Z,
Diddy, Stevie Wonder, Master P, Omarion, Baby and Li'l Wayne, Chris Rock,
David Banner and Juvenile. Alicia Keys, New Orleans native Wynton
Marsalis, Ciara, Ludacris, Keyshia Cole, Pharrell Williams, Avant, Wyclef,
Twista, Lyfe, Brandy, Al and Star Jones Reynolds, Erykah Badu, Gerald
Levert and Nick Cannon have also committed to participate.

The Grand Ole Opry and the Great American Country (GAC) network will
air their benefit, "Country Reaches Out: An Opry Benefit for the American
Red Cross," on Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. Schedule to perform are Alan Jackson,
Keith Urban, Alison Krauss, Craig Morgan, Marty Stuart, Julie Roberts and
Billy Currington.
The show begins at the Opry at 8 p.m., with live coverage beginning at
9 p.m. on GAC and sister stations DIY Network and Fine Living. The concert
can be heard in its entirety on Sirius Satellite Radio and opry.com.

The Gospel Music Channel and I Network (formerly PAX), have announced a Sept. 22 benefit, "Gospel Angels." Gospel and Christian music stars will perform live. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. on the Gospel Music Channel and 8 p.m. on the I Network.
