Radio needs more Christmas songs

LETTERS

The other night I watched an Alan Jackson Christmas show. It was beautiful with all the songs being of Christmas nature and put our family into the Christmas spirit.

It made me wonder what has happened to the real Christmas spirit. Why, with this, the Christmas season, aren't there more Christmas songs on the radio? I have heard maybe one or two so far. I could listen to them most of the day. Most of the songs I heard advertise -- buy, buy, buy. This is not the true Christmas. I want to hear the "oldies but goodies."

I listen to a lot of my old tapes this time of the year. I'm sure there are people out there who agree with me.
